Below you will find links to products that you may need on my Two-Week Detox Plan.  Many of these items are also available at your local stores but for your convenience I have provided links so you can quickly shop if necessary.  I prefer the vanilla to the chocolate for the morning shake.  You can always add some unsweetened cocoa to the shake if you want to mix it up.

SunWarrior Raw Blend Vanilla – by far the best tasting vegan protein powder on the market.  Not gritty and no aftertaste.  The vanilla is great to have on hand for baking too.  This shake does have a few ingredients and a little stevia for a sweetener.  If you prefer a plain shake check out the Almost Naked or Naked Pea Protein below.

SunWarrior Raw Blend Chocolate – if you love chocolate you might want to try the chocolate but I recommend having the vanilla on hand.

Almost Naked or Naked Pea Protein – If you prefer to use just a plain protein powder in your shake this one is great.  You can get naked which is just non-GMO pea protein or almost naked which has some organic coconut sugar and some natural flavor.  I used the naked one and just add a touch of stevia and vanilla extract and it mixes up nicely and tastes great.  This is a good answer for anyone not wanting multiply ingredients or if you don’t like the taste of stevia found in the Sun Warrior brand.


 almond-flourAlmond flour – This almond flour/meal is great for not only baking but also to use in grain free recipes that substitute breadcrumbs for almond flour such as my Grain Free Chicken Fingers.


 coconut-flourCoconut flour – Great deal on an organic 4 lb. bag of coconut flour.  I use coconut flour in many of my grain free recipes so make sure you always keep it on hand.

Organic Spirulina – This is a nice option for your powdered spirulina that you need for the shake.  If you choose another brand make sure it is organic.





Chia Seeds– Chia seeds are an amazing source of omega 3 fatty acids essential for brain and heart health.  What I love about chia seeds is that you can add them to liquid and they form a viscous consistency which makes shakes thick or can be used as an egg substitute in recipes.  Once you open them keep them in the refrigerator to preserve freshness.

NOW Organic Better Stevia – Stevia or monk fruit are the only sweeteners allowed on any of my plans because they are not associated with spiking insulin or promoting disease.  Some stevia products have other ingredients that are harmful such as sugar alcohols or GMO starches.  This is not only a super clean stevia but it is also the best tasting one on the market.
