Client Spotlight on Sharon – How to Lose Weight and Eliminate Autoimmune Joint Pain

Sharon came to me in early May ready to make some changes after gaining weight over the past few years.  Stress from taking care of elderly parents, her own autoimmune ulcerative colitis and COVID had really brought her to a place that she was ready to take some time for herself and her own health.

Sharon had gained 22 lbs. over the past few years and COVID wasn’t helping.  She was eating a lot of processed snacks, chocolate and empty calorie, inflammatory foods and just not being accountable to the quality or quantity of food.

She started with me at 164 lbs. setting a goal for 140.  Her first two weeks she did my Two-Week Detox Plan and lost 7 lbs.  She was a little afraid to increase the fiber with her colitis but after 2 weeks she not only lost weight but felt great too, with her pain quickly diminishing.

After 3 months, Sharon had lost 22 lbs. and 7% body fat bringing both her weight and body fat into a super healthy range.  She began working out with me for the next month so that she could fine tune her workout program and continued to lose more weight to bring her just 1 lb. away from her goal weight of 140.

Best of all, Sharon loves the way she feels without joint pain and has more energy.
