Healthy Fried Rice Recipe
Chinese or Asian food is one of my families favorites. I love the ginger, soy, and hot sauce flavors that go along with a bowl of stir fry. One thing I always tell my clients to avoid with Asian foods however is the fried rice. Fried rice can take an otherwise healthy dish and ruin your spoil your clean eating plan. In addition, when you eat out at restaurants you don’t know how much MSG, sodium and hidden fats are in the food. Making your own special “take out” dinner can be easy and much cleaner then going to the restaurant.
This recipe can be made with brown rice, riced cauliflower or quinoa. In addition to using this rice with a stir fry, you can make up a batch for the week and use it in a variety of dishes. Try serving it with a can of wild salmon and avocado or try cooking in an egg for a nice breakfast dish. Switch it up and try quinoa one week and brown rice another. Remember it’s just one more way to always be prepared at meal time with a quick, easy and clean dish. And if you are doing BodyDesigns Two-Week Detox Plan this is a detox friendly recipe. Enjoy!
