Top Picks for Probiotics and Enzymes

The gut is the gateway to your health.  It is responsible for digesting our food, absorbing our nutrients and eliminating our waste and toxins.

The ecosystems of bacteria that live in the gut are important for every aspect of our health.  Depression, immunity, malnutrition and any host of diseases are associated with an unhealthy intestinal lining.

These days the typical American diet is loaded with chemicals and toxins that destroy our good bacteria and allow “bad” bacteria to take over.  Antibiotics, ibuprofen and other drugs, along with too much sugar and too little healthy fat have all added to an epidemic of gut related disorders.  As a result I highly recommend my clients to take a good quality probiotic like this probiotic for men every single day.  Buyer beware however, because many brands you buy do absolutely nothing to help you because the bacteria is either dead before it reaches your gut or it doesn’t contain enough variety or a large enough quantity.

I recommend that each time you buy you rotate between 2 or 3 types that seem to work well for you.  Below is a list of some of my favorite brands with a little description about each one.

Below the probiotics you will find some digestive enzymes.  For people suffering with reflux, indigestion or someone who has had their gallbladder removed enzymes might be helpful to help with digestion.

NOTE:  I have a full line of other probiotics and enzymes through Fullscript that I am able to recommend for you at discounted rates.  Email me if you would like an invitation to buy discounted supplements through this program.
