Gingersnap Cookie Protein Shake
It’s the holiday season and all through the kitchen are smells of ginger, spices and cookies. I love this time of year and recipes just keep coming to mind as I start to plan out my holiday menus. Since starting your day with a healthy shake is a great way to get enough protein in your breakfast, why not mix it up and try something new.
This shake is detox friendly as it follows the same principles outlined in BodyDesigns Two-Week Detox Plan. Easy to make with ingredients found in everyone’s kitchen, enjoy this alternative this holiday season.
Just like my Eggnog Breakfast Shake, you can make the Gingersnap Cookie Shake as a complete meal replacement (which is a detox friendly breakfast) or use it in the Chia Seed Milkshake as an alternative to the other flavors. For a Chia Seed Milkshake just replace cocoa or carob with the spices found in this shake (directions found on the blog post for the chia seed shake).
