Today is Super Bowl Sunday and it’s no reason to ruin your clean eating plan. Whether you stay home or go to a friends house be prepared with something healthy to eat. This year I’m cooking up my Bean Free Turkey Chili. This hearty dish will satisfy your desire for comfort food without breaking your New Year’s Resolution to eat clean.

Serve it with some gluten free chips or crackers as a healthier alternative to traditional dips. Use the leftovers to top chicken or fish as a tasty alternative to plain grilled chicken. Bean Free Chili
1 T coconut oil
1 lb. lean ground turkey
1 sweet onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 red pepper, chopped
3 large carrots, chopped
1 box POMI chopped tomatoes, or 5 large tomatoes
2-4 T chili powder
salt and pepper to taste
1. Heat coconut oil and saute onions and garlic for 5 minutes over medium heat.
2. Add ground turkey and cook until no longer pink.
3. Add all the other ingredients and cook until your vegetables are tender but not soggy, about 15 minutes. Enjoy it hot or refrigerate for another meal.
